Hi, I'm Julia. I started this company because, after years of searching, I finally found something that really inspires me and it's something I think a lot of other people will like too! Handmade tile is not only versatile and practical, but a rad art installation with a unique backstory you'll always be excited to share. I mean, who else do you know with made-from-scratch artisan tile in their home or business? Between different shapes, patterns, and glazes, there are endless possibilities to design and create your vision for whatever space you may have in mind.                         

               

After receiving training under master ceramicists, including the prominent Nicola Boccini, at Scuola d'Arte Ceramica Romano Ranieri in central Italy, I have also taken coursework from the very talented and well respected artist Forrest Lesch-Middelton of Petaluma Pottery. So rest assured I know what I'm doing, mostly.   

                     

From a costal studio in southern California, our tiles are 100% truly handmade in every sense of the word. Starting with 25 lb. blocks of raw, locally sourced clay, we use a combination of traditional and modern techniques to create one of a kind ceramic tile.
